All details in the Festival programme were correct at the time of going to print or appearing on the website. We may have to change programmes and artists if circumstances dictate, but we will make our best efforts to inform all customers of any changes as soon as we are aware. We cannot provide a refund if the event is still taking place.
In the event of the total cancellation of any single event due to circumstances beyond the Appledore Book Festival control, customers will be refunded. The Festival shall have no liability for losses or costs which you may incur due to such cancellation.
We reserve the right to change the Venue, if ticket sales differ greatly from the anticipated numbers. Any changes will be advertised and Stewards will be on hand to direct you to the correct place.
The management reserves the right to refuse admission. Tickets are issued subject to the Rules and Regulations of the Venue.
Event start times are punctual. Please allow plenty of time to arrive and be seated (or in place) before the event starts. If you are late our stewards will do their best to show you to your seat (or space) with minimal disturbance to the event, but you may be asked to wait until a suitable break in the performance.
Any person attending an Appledore Book Festival event consents to the recording and filming of themselves as members of the audience in such instances whereby recording and filming occurs. Ticket orders will be processed in order of receipt, and will be dispatched by 2nd-class post. If you do not receive your tickets within 7 days please contact the Box Office.

Buying a ticket will ensure that you get into the event but we cannot guarantee a seat in any particular location/venue. In accordance with security regulations, all venues will be cleared of belongings and Festival-goers in preparation for the next event.
