Variety Show

At 8pm on Monday 26th September the Estuary Theatre Group will stage their acclaimed production, the Right Royal Performance Variety Show at Appledore Hall.

Jazz – Tommaso Starace

After the variety show on Monday 26th, why not stroll along Irsha Street to The Beaver where top Italian saxophonist Tommaso Starace will perform at North Devon Jazz Club, with a trio led by Best UK Jazz Pianist of 2010, Craig Milverton.

Devon Poetry

Devonshire Cream is on offer on Tuesday 27th September at St Mary’s Hall, starting at 9pm when, hosted by Frances Thompson, the cream of Devon poets will wax lyrical about our glorious county (with some dialect stories as an extra portion!)

If you’re keen to test your literary knowledge then the Book Quiz at the Seagate Hotel is for you, starting at 7.30pm on Wednesday 28th September.

Ghost Walks

For those who would rather experience more intangible phenomena will fancy the two Ghost Walks around Appledore, led by local expert Terry Bailey, starting at 9pm on the Friday 30th September and Saturday 1st October.

Poetry & Music – Colin Shaddick

Also on Friday 30th September, the ever-popular evening of Poetry and Music will be held at St Mary’s Hall at 9pm, hosted by national eccentric Colin Shaddick and featuring top local performers, including Chloe Bix!

Don’t miss Amy Newton playing at The Seagate on Thursday 29th September at 8pm. This event is free with donations for the singer.
