Appledore Book Festival is keen to build on its reputation as the “Friendly Festival” and that means we want to talk to people.

Communication is the essence of a book festival and a book festival is only as good as its feedback. So if you’ve got a question please go ahead and ask it – or you’ll never know the answer!

Here’s how to make contact with the right people and avoid crossed lines (and worry lines):

  • I am an author or publisher and I am interested in taking part in next year’s festival.
  • I am interested in putting on a fringe event.
  • I work for a school and I am interested in organising an author visit as part of the schools programme.
    Please e-mail: events@appledorebookfestival.co.uk

  • I’m a business and I’m interested in supporting the Festival in some way.
  • I'm a reporter and I want to write a story about the Festival.
  • I’ve got a general question or I want to make a comment or suggestion.
    Please e-mail: info@appledorebookfestival.co.uk

  • I want to contact you by telephone.
We regret that we do not have a permanently staffed office, so this is not possible. However, for information about tickets, please ring our Box Office at ‘Docton Court Gallery’ during opening times on 01237 424949.

  • I want to write to you by post.
You can write to our Festival Co-ordinator at:

         Carol Saumarez
         Co-ordinator A.B.F.
         Olive Farm
         Orchard Hill
         Bideford
         Devon, EX39 2RA

Many thanks for your interest in the Appledore Book Festival – we hope to hear from you soon.
