From the Authors and Tickets page, click the “Add to Cart” button next to the event(s) of your choice. You will be taken to the PayPal website. Simply follow the instructions.

Once you have paid you will receive a confirmation e-mail receipt.
Your ticket(s) will then be sent to you in the post.
Present your ticket at the door in the usual manner.
A flat-rate booking/postage fee of £1.50 will apply at the end of all transactions made using this method. This also contributes to the additional bank charges involved.

Please make sure that the address linked to your credit-card is correct, as this is where your tickets will be posted.

3) Pay by post

You will need Adobe reader to view – download it here if the form does not open.

The ABF Box Office
Docton Court Gallery
2 Myrtle Street

Your ticket(s) will then be sent to you in the post.
Please note: If you don’t enclose a stamped addressed envelope, your ticket will be retained at the ABF Box Office for your personal collection without further correspondence.

4) Pay over the phone using a credit or debit card

We regret that Docton Court Gallery does not currently have the facility to take money from your card, without the customer being present. If you wish to pay by credit-card, please use the Internet booking facility.

Late Bookings

Tickets booked within 1 week of the event, will be retained at the ABF Box Office for your personal collection. Please note that the Box Office is at a different location to the venues. We are unable to transfer tickets to be picked up on the door. Tickets must be collected from the Box Office.

Conditions of Booking

Please refer to the Terms and Conditions of Purchase

Returned tickets

If you have tickets you are unable to use, the ABF regret that we are legally unable to accept these for re-sale, even if returned to us as a gift (sorry, but it’s the law!). However, we do have a ‘Ticket Swap Board‘ available in the Box Office, where you can advertise your wants and disposals, and get in touch with other Festival go-ers. Any transactions made from contacts on this board are unable to be handled by our Box Office staff. During the Festival itself, this Board will be sited at the Information Desk in St Mary’s Church Hall.

What to do:.. Contact the Box Office and tell them what tickets you want, or wish to dispose of. They will take your name and contact details (not the tickets) and put this information on the Ticket-swap Board. If there are any matching requests, they will arrange for details to be shared between parties, who can then arrange a deal.
