The Bideford, Westward Ho! and Appledore railway closed one hundred years ago this year. To commemorate this anniversary Appledore’s Silver Band will perform a programme of music with a railway theme from Chatanooga Choo Choo to Take the A Train. In the second half, Appledore’s maritime heritage will be celebrated with a programme of songs performed by Torridge Shanty Group involving plenty of audience participation!
