Ian Mortimer, who is best known for his Time Traveller’s Guides, will be talking about his novel, The Outcasts of Time, which is set in and around Exeter. He will discuss the unique plot of the book – which sees medieval people live one day in every subsequent century from 1300s -1900s and talk about how life has changed for ordinary people over the last seven centuries.
